Product Review: Marc Jacobs Nail Polish

Hello, lovelies!

        There's no beauty product that I love more on this Earth than nail polish, so naturally, when Marc Jacobs came out with a whole line of nail polishes, I just had to get my hands on one! 

                                 

                             

                            

I decided to pick up mine in the color Petra, which is this beautiful shimmery brown color. I dropped $18 on this polish, but was it really worth it? Let's take a look (both here and/or on my video placed above!)

The Good:

-Very cute packaging

-Nice brush

-Great formula in terms of pigmentation, and ease of application

-Could easily get away with only one coat of polish

The Bad:
-Packing is beautiful, but excessive

-I wish the brush head was longer, so it's less awkward to paint with

-Dry time was eh

-Not very good lasting power

Final Verdict?

I had such high hopes and expectations for this polish after applying it; it seemed so promising! And while it has so many great qualities, what good is a nail polish that doesn't really last very long even with a base and top coat? I really do appreciate the pigmentation and all things of that nature, but if the polish only looks good for a day or two in my eyes, it's not something that I'm really into. Granted, maybe if I was super careful with what I was doing I can make them go a few more days without chipping, but who really wants to do that? All in all I don't think I'll really be buying any more of these polished in the future.
