Just did my official first 'first impression' video, on the new L'Oreal Visible Lift CC Cream! This was my first time using a CC Cream, but I've used BB Creams a bunch of times before, so I sort of had an idea as to what to expect. The main difference between a BB and CC cream (as explained in the video), is that CC creams are indeed supposed to also help your skin over time. This particular cream claims to do five things:
- Reduce the appearance of age spots & dark spots
- Even skin tone
- Brighten dull complexion
- Smooth skin texture
- Firm Skin
You can watch my full first impression in the video above, but for the sake of this blog post I'll also just post the overall pros and cons of this product.
PROS:
- Lightweight
- Pleasant smell
- Very moisturizing
- Long lasting
CONS
- VERY light coverage (although that may not be a con for everyone)
- Makes skin look very shiny/oily
- Leaves skin feeling tacky for a couple of hours
All in all, this product is great for someone who may be looking to correct a few MINOR things with their skin over time, and someone who also wants very MINOR coverage in the process. I do NOT recommend this product for anyone who has oily skin; this will be a nightmare for you. But if you're looking for a nice cream with a little spf that will even out your skintone, go for it!
On a scale of 1-10 I say I'd this this product around a 5.5. It's just an "eh," product.
Well, that's all for today! I hope you guys found this helpful!
